Editorial policy
Stellar Beauty Journal aims for careful, readable work about beauty as visual culture. We make claims proportionate to what can be supported and make our editorial choices visible to readers.
Accuracy and context
We check names, dates, quotations and factual claims against reliable material before publication. When interpreting an image, object or beauty ideal, we separate what can be observed from what is an interpretation and give context where it changes the meaning. We do not present personal preferences as universal standards.
Independence and labels
Editorial decisions remain distinct from commercial arrangements. Sponsored articles and partner material are clearly labelled so readers can recognise them. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or determine our editorial conclusions.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, clarifying significant changes in the article.
Images
Images are selected to support the subject and are not a substitute for evidence. Some illustrations are AI-generated; where one is used, it is identified as an illustration rather than presented as a documentary image.
